With more than twenty combined years of food service and restaurant experience, the owners of Cafetasia had an idea to create a restaurant that would take the positive things they’d observed in other restaurants – service, quality, price, design and ambiance- and to make them even better. As a result, Cafetasia, sitting in the heart of New York City’s quintessential neighborhood – Greenwich Village, was born.

I would really like to give this place a higher rating, but the service is just so terrible and they are so inconsistent. I really like their panang curry when they get it right, but the thing is that they never do. It's either too bland or too hot or they add things to the dish that were not there the time before. Warning: if you don't like (or are allergic to) peanuts, they have a bad habit of putting peanuts on dishes "as a garnish" even though it's not listed on the menu. There is no consistency and they are never helpful when you have a problem. Also, they don't give you enough white rice to go with your meal. Ever.

Surprised to see this place rated so highly. If I could give it no stars, I would. Only ordered from here once (Chicken cashew except with tofu) and it was absolutely inedible. Had to throw it away. First time that has ever happened to me.

Delish and affordable food. They're pretty speedy too. I think at every moment, there's a special going on. Like the early bird special which is from 11-4pm (entree & appetizer for $8) and the one after 4pm which is all that and a drink. SOLID

The food from this place did not taste like Thai food, it was watered down tasteless Chinese food, not recommended.

I've always had very speedy delivery and the food is delicious!! Can't get enough of the crab rangoons.

Good food and definitely Asian inspired instead of traditional Asian food. It's better to dine in though, the atmosphere is worth checking out during a week day.

The noodle dishes are pretty large and delicious, though a little greasy at times. Pad Thai is great, but the soups are pretty weak.

Delicious and affordable, especially the lunch specials which I adore. The Pad Thai is a pretty large serving, I can usually get two or three meals out of it. And the Crab Rangoon are to die for, definitely a favorite of mine. One time I didn't get my ice coffee, but the rest of the times I got it in a 32 ounce soup container which was both generous and economically!

Very fast! The spring rolls were good but I wish the pad thai had been more peanutty, not included mushrooms and had at least some little bits of tofu. A bit different flavors from other pad thai that I'm used to.

Better food in-house than delivered.

The food here is usually pretty good although delivery took longer than I would have liked. The chicken Pad Se Ew is really good (although I tried it with beef once and was disappointed). Spring rolls are also yummy!

The food was fine, and the delivery came in about a half hour. However, they forgot my drinks, and they tried to deliver to the wrong apartment. I will not order from them again.

Great bang for your buck. The lunch specials are delicious and a ton of food for a relatively low price. Pair that with speedy delivery and this place could be my favorite lunch place.

calamari fritters overcooked and too chewy

Food arrived cold. Sauce with spring rolls is odd. They were out of the green tea cheesecake so gave me honey bananas as an alternative which were not good at all. They wrapped the icescream in saran wrap which was very messy and unappetizing. The Pad Thai made no mention of having chicken in it and had very little vegetables (bean sprouts, chives) or egg, tofu or peanut as its description said. Overall, very disappointing meal.

I've had pretty good and pretty bad from here. First time I ordered I was pretty happy with it, but the noodles I had the other night were particularly greasy and gave me an upset stomach. They're better than some, but kind of hit or miss.

spring rolls and dumplings are deep fried, thought they would be steamed or fresh the curry was good but a little greasy
